The whites and the overall cool atmosphere makes a very good impression of a chilly winter's day. Composition is very good. So is the exposure in a scene full of whites and blacks.

Great shot. The slow shutter speed has captured the waterfall superbly. The whiteness of the snow has been managed with perfectly lighting. The hint of green gives the shot another dimension. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Great shot, the waterfalls off to the right if the picture, the vertical format nicely divided into 3 layers, water, rock, trees, the snowy trees without the tree tops and the water coming towards you with just enough of the colour from the moss coming through. Very nicely done.

Hi Evelynn,
I was waiting on your photos from Silver Falls Park. All the danger you faced to get to the place was well woth it. The drama in this photo is just marvelous. Did you had your battery socks when you took this? :)
The hint of green in his photo is really perfect, giving it just that extra bit. A perfect composition with remarkable good details throughout the scenery.

Hi Evelynn

I see you've been quite busy since i've gone :)
Lots of winter landscapes that look fantastic!...all of them!
This one here is just outstanding and besides the gorgeous waterfall i also love the ice on the rocks right near the fall...they give a terrific similarity and add a lot to the overall composition!
The exposure and contrast are also great and very well managed, super sharp details throughout the entire frame and lovely chilly tones :)
