[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is just a small seasonal waterfall we found on a side trail at Silver Falls Park. I like the limited range of color and all the textures. Some might find it busy, but I find it interesting... the snow, the icicles, the tree trunk, the mosses, and the falling water etc. There is a lot to look at. I hope you like it too.

Hi Evelynn,
This is another frozy picture of today. It seems as if it was a very mystic moment. Your POV is also very interesting!
Nice...
Best regards,
OKI

I like it too Evelynn. Did you experiment at all with a slower shutter speed in order to get some blurring motion in the water?

Hi Evelynn. I like the muted colours and despite a lot of detail their is a strong vertical element created by the falls, icicles and the trunk which pulls it all together - masterful! James

nice combination of features. i like the idea of running water in winter. it's a little hard to distinguish between the icicles and the falling water though. maybe a longer exposure to smooth out the water could help?

Fantastica atmosfera follettiana.
Ciao e buon week end.

Hi Evelynn,
Another beautiful scene capture by your talented eye, composition is great and all the textures are very eye appealing.

There IS a lot going on in this picture, Evelynn.
Each section is quite finely detailsed, and all the parts seem to have equal attraction. I am amazed at how sharp and thin the icicles are. The twigs on the bush on the left are so delicate. A good contrast to the heavy puffy globs of snow on the branches on the right. Very interesting.

Hello Evelynn,
The artist in you is at work again. This has turned out to become a very nice series.
I'll just repeat what other have already said: masterful composition. The trunk in the foreground and the icicles in the back form a great parallel image. I would be interested to see what it would look like in B&W.
Best wishes,
Hakan
