| This photo was taken from Ptarmagin Ridge on Mt. Baker. Pronounced Tarmagin, this ridge was named after the bird that calls this place home. To the left, just out of the picture is Mt. Shuksan, one of the most photographed mountains in the world. Many of you may have seen pictures of it reflecting off of Picture Lake. I tried to capture the height of the ridge with this photo and while I think I was able to, being there is of course a whole 'nother thing. |
