[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As the expansive energies of the globally warmed months recede we pass through a transition marked by tertiary colors: umber, sienna, ochre, purple, and deep green. The days grow short, the sun sinks lower in the sky, and the sound of the season cools, slows, and turns inward, embracing the Dark Ambient realm of mystery and melancholy. This then is the start of the end of summer....In only a few short days we mark the beginning of fall, yet remnants of summer still remain...some still in full glory but many now showing their age as if thy were antiques sitting on a dusty shelf.

It is important in many places to have four seasons. Without four, there would be no death and rebirth. This is how I planned my life in the wilderness...and along the way I noted as a stray flora yet remain..with wisps of dust or old webs of small spiders...they leave the footprints into the change of seasons...I thank Stephen Hill for his help in my work and on my path.

Hello Bob,
A very fine and discreet picture..I almost missed it. Like you I love all these fine tints you evoke, umber, sienna... and I'm looking forward for fall too (my favourite season)
Your picture shows this transition period well. May be a little crop would have been useful.
Kind regards and take care
Anne

Hello Bob,
A great macro shot which reminds us of what is fast approaching. I pray you guys don't get buried like you did last year. Let's hope for a mild winter, and as you stated, be thankful for the four seasons. TFS
Ron
