Hi Bob,
Happily your leg pain is not preventing you from taking beautiful pictures. This little Bumble Bee on the pretty flower is delightful. Colors, details, and composition are wonderful. Of course the uphill walk wasn't too smart! Hey, we wish for 85 degrees - that's cool.

Hello Bob,
A real beauty of a shot, crisp and very detailed with gorgeous coloration. White is always hard for me to get the right amount of exposure, but you did a great job!! Very informative notes also!! TFS.

Bob,
This statement: "..."It's kind of ironic that the place where we need them most to pollinate fruits and vegetables, that's where we don't have them any longer," Kremen said.", is quite ligitimate.
We are slowly but surely killing ourselves in the process; nothing to do with old age. (70's and or 80's) Our ancestors lived to 600 or even to 900 years... why not now...???... POLLUTION my friend.
Lovely image... great story... hope your collection goes to 7 figures!!!
Regards from Mario.

Hi Bob,
The close-up view is showing with precision the details and colors of the bumble bee and of the flower. The subject is well framed. The surrounding light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Bob.
This is such a nice shot with the white petals shielding the stamens and the bee gracefully. Your hand-hold skill is respectable as the result proved to be top class here.
Thanks for sharing and best regards.

A fine close-up of a bumblebee on this Cosmos flower that provides a fine BG, well exposed. Your Leica and the way you use it result in an excellent technical standard and the composition is just right here.
Hope you get your electric wheels soon Bob!
All the best,
Ivan
