Hi Bob! Thanks for sharing this beautiful photograph which reminds me how much globally the weather is changing; somewhere it has advanced its move & somewhere it late/never. The result is what you see here that helicopters are still in well secured position on the trees when environment has turned brown & dry due to very strange weather condition.
I believe, this is what I had seen in one of the famous documentaries by Al Gore (An Inconvenient Truth), when rains were late & the avian chicks were growing and demanding for more & more food from parents; but due to late arrival of rains; there was no greenery around, hence no insects to feed the fast growing chicks and the outcome was very soon reflecting on these marasmic little creatures, who eventually succumbed to this change in climatic condition. No doubt, as to what may happen if monsoons get delayed and the biological cycle continues to remain @ same frequency; we will loose many species by our misconduct and self-centered approach.
I appreciate your productions which I view on YouTube; and as said before that I always sit with my hot cup of tea to enjoy every bit of it & morning. I request you to go through this web link please. Refer The girl who silenced the world for 5 minutes

Excellent shot of a cluster of Maple keys. The sharpness and colours are top notch and the composition is attractive.
We too are having strange weather, the temp. plunging from sunshine and 60 F to below freezing in a matter of hours and like you autumnal colours have moved through a fast forward!
Have a nice Sunday Bob,
Ivan

Hi Bob,
what an outstanding image this one is!It says so much about life on our planet that mere words cannot express.Plants are as we all know are , not intelligent, sentient beings but then again ;one must wonder.I say this not in jest as it is definitely an evolutionary thing for a plant to have developed a means to disperse it's seeds as the maple keys you show somehow do and yet it must be from some sense of the world around the tree that it does so.I love trees to begin with and always have and even as a small boy,why hell I even then hugged one for real as if it were something more than just a plant.I admire everything about trees and think that this world without them would be a tragic place indeed! Those seeds are for me a confirmation that life is good and must carry on for no other reason than it should and can. This is a very life affirming photo,Bob.The future for better or worst is tied-up in those wonderful works of nature's art,the unborn trees of tomorrow.
The photo is very fine overall, with little in the way of issues that detract from it,so I must say thank you very much for sharing a simple photo of the complicated miracle of life on this planet.

A good macro study in fine fall colours Bob, always loved those maple "propellers" as wonderful nature designs, also enjoy them while falling to the ground. Partly side illumination really shows their wing structures to a perfection. TFS my friend this fine image and nice composition.
Cheers,

Hello Bob,
Your Leica sure does a great job for you, this shot is super fine!! Love the great detail and natural colors along with the perfect exposure!!
The leaves in our area are in full peak fall colors right now. I was up near Cleveland last week and the trees were just starting to turn.

Hello Bob,
Original posting, so simple and beautiful. We also had the same kind of weather passing from very hot days to freezing cold ones. So most of the leaves will fall down very quickly like in your part in the world. Amazing sharpness on the "helicopters" with which we used to play as childen.
Take care.
Kind regards
Anne

I've kept asking everyone where you are, and hoping and praying that He's kept you in good health, Bob!
It was awesome to hear from you, my friend!
You talk about fall, Bob. Whats strange is that fall seems to be delayed here, I'm not sure, but I think its the global warming which is doing this.
An awesome shot!
bravo!

There's a poem that starts out with the concept "To look at anything, you must be that thing" You must become the thing you are looking at. This photograph takes me to that place.

Hi Bob,
The macro view is allowing me to see the details and colors of the leaves and of the helicopters. The subject is well framed. It is clear and sharp. The surrounding light is enhancing the colors. have a nice day.
