I took this on our hike to Table Mountain. I have no idea what kind of fungi it is, but the color seems so bright to me.

Very nice fungi and tree. Great detail and colors. It looks a little like the tree has a mouth with lips, or beak. TFS.
Sorry I can not be much help I find its easier to pretend these type of fungi don't exists then loose hair trying to find names for them. Nice colours but I do think the image has two much red in it.

Hi Lori, very nice fungi, these are a nightmare to get right but I think you have done a pretty good job, the colours are nice but I feel it could be a little sharper...but it's always tricky with these. Well done.

Fungi are hard to photograph but I love the colours in this one. Such a contrast between the top and bottom of it and such a thick strange shape. TFS
