| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Very often on my schoolbus runs we get to see deer. Usually off to the side of the road, and mostly so far off we can't see them very well. These two were much closer and the kids got so excited to see them they started telling me to take a photo, as they all know I usually have my camera with me.
I used the optical zoom up to the point where the digital zoom kicks in, but right before. I'm not too impressed with the quality even with just the optical zoom. Guess you get what you pay for, if I splurged for the $600 camera instead of the $300 one I'd probably get better results, but oh well. This photo brings a smile to my face hearing the call "Teacher Lori, take a picture!" from the back of my bus. I only put on the hazard lights, (there were no cars on this backroad) and opened my bus door, and took this from my seat.
Cropped, levels, resized, sharpened, cropped again, and again. |
