[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this today while I was filling up my car with gas on the way home from work. I loved the dark blue sky and the silouette of the trees against the setting sun. I believe these are fir trees, and the one on the left looks like the top was damaged in the ice storm we had a few weeks ago. Many, many trees had damage when they were covered in freezing rain, and then a wind storm came through.
I've come to the conclusion that I like trees, for their different shapes and curves, colors and contrasts.

Very nice Lori. Interesting post of trees which I think are pines. Interesting to see the points of the trees. If pointed like the tree on the left, which incidently looks like its damaged, it means they are growing well, if stumped, like the main tree, it means it is not growing very well. Good silhouiette as well. Nice work

Good backlighting silhouette Lori. Blue ski in the background is superb.

I love the atmosphere of this photo. Calm and relax. Great shot!
