[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have posted images of Rose Hips before. I have also equated them to a natural healing process. This is because Rose Hips are 2% by weight Vitamin C. That is more than most citrus fruits. And they are used as a natural prevention for colds. Some folks claim that they actually shorten the length of a cold. This was proven by Dr. Linus Pauling back in teh 1960's...although he used the synthetic form in extreme high concentrate.

This particular image is taken while the Rose Hip is still on the wild rose plant. They are picked after the first frost. We dry them and use them in tea, although they have no flavor, they add to the medicinal properties of the tea. We also add some dried echinacea, some yarrow leaves, some wild strawberry leaves and two teaspoons of honey...

Hi Bob. This is such a colourful picture of the Rose Hip with the golden coloured leaves. Taken with good detail and such natural colous. Well taken and TFS.

This is a fine autumn image!
What makes it different from most is inclusion of the decayed berry, a strong symbol of the end of another summer...
The tight framing works well, in spite the warm colours the scene gives a cold feeling!
