Your wife is wonderful Rick P! Lucy is a heck of a person and worthy of the trip and I hope she enjoyed the coast. I noticed in one image you sent, there was a thin fog layer just offshore...so I posted a fog shot of just onshore today:-)

as to your Otter...it is wonderful..I have not seen any in the ocean in all these years..I have seen just about everything else including a giant shark which was out of place...from tail to dorsal it was huge...great image of Moss Rick..keep on clicking..you already sold one other Canadian on your work..I shall share with you my correspondents address via private, Ron Rattray.

It's not everyday you see a Sea Otter, especially around here. Nice capture Rick. It's great you caught this little guy chowing down his dinner. Nice sharp detail and well composed.

Well, how special is that? I'm sure Lucy loves it and surely appreciates the sentiment. What is not to love about a sea otter? I was wondering if you had seen the one I posted from Moss Landng a LONG time ago. I just found it and discovered that you were the first to critique it!! : ) Technically it was not great, taken with different equipment and very late in the evening, but I always liked the subject/compo. Technically yours is much better. That 100-400 is a sweet lens.

Congratulations to you and Lucy on your 25th Anniversary. I imagine the two of you will be still be running around having wonderful adventures when you celebrate your Golden Anniversary. A wonderful dedication - I'm sure Lucy loves this picture as much as I do. The Otto is wonderful - sharp and clear as he enjoys his meal. I love his whiskers and the turbulent water.
