Accipiter

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
First post in some time- been busy with other duties.
Accipiter, most probably Sharp-shinned Hawk. One person with expertise has said it might be Immature Coopers Hawk.
That brush pile he is sitting on was placed there by the photographer to give the prey a place to hide. It is full of sparrows, finches and chickadees. Although the two types of chickadees I have here don't seem to hide as much as the other birds. I have a larger pile of tree branches that house even more birds, as he's a total afficionado of my well fed birds.
Tech: handheld, iso 800, 273mm, jpeg format. I usually shoot RAW, but have been using an old computer and haven't the system to run my RAW converter software. |
