As I stated in one of my previous notes, the few permanent watercourses to cross the Sonoran Desert are a crucial point in the wildlife surviving in this habitat.

Verde River is along with Salt River the most important watercourses to cross the upper Sonoran Desert. It can be seen clearly the lush vegetation on the shores that gives room (far background) to the Saguaro Kingdom and other succulents on the hills.

Hello Petru!
Nice view of riverbank, I like reflections and colours. But IMHO, the colours of sky and it's reflection are slight different?

beautiful contrasts in that rocky little paradise.
Getting drawn into and corious what plants and animals there are.
Saguaros. Giant tarantulas. The Gila Monster.

Great shot of this landscape. Fresh natural colours and the picture breaths a calm atmosphere. Details are also good, look at the waterlevel, on the stones you can see that the level is higher usually. Well seen.
