Hi Scott,
Very nice sunset from the sunshine state.
Really like the slightly cropped panoramic framing, it suits it. Great reflection of the twilight sky, with it's late light colors..
You know, I lived in Florida for two years back in the late 80's in Clearwater, near Tampa Bay.
Very well done.

A beautiful vista.I agree the crop does give it a pano look.The colours on the horizon are awesome and the reflections are wonderful.Very good contrast.I like the recurring swirl of the clouds,of the silhouetted trees,and the waterway.It all creates a nice effect.TFS

A tranquil sunset with very calm waters. The sky has very soft colours with a touch of richness. The silhouette of the trees brings a nice contrast to the soft colours. Looks like a nice place to visit.

This is a beautiful image that gives a very good sense of the serenity of the marshland during sundown hours. Colors and the reflection are very nice. Cropping from below was an excellent idea that must have definitely improved the composition. Well done.

This is a stunning image!
I really like the long exposure to get this wonderful mood and atmosphere.
The colors on the sky are gorgeous! From calid ones downwards to cold ones at the top.
You really took the best from the wide angular lens.
I like so much the composition made with all these elements.

Hi Scott.
Very nice and very expressive view and its picture. You have selevted POV and shooting time perfectly as well as I like your framing/cropping. Colour palette of your picture is very nice and pleasant for look. The reflection of the sky in the water looks wonderfully. For me only the riddle is an applying so slow aperture value. With wide angle lens it is possible to receive a sharp landscape at the sufficient open aperture (for example, f/5.6). My best regards and TFS. Perfect job.

No wonder you like these types of shots...you make them terrific! ;))

This is really a splendid capture! The timing was impeccable and the colors and tones it resulted in are brilliant!
The shapes of the clouds are also wnderful and make everything seem even wider.
Splendid shadows and silhouettes in the "FG" and so an outstanding composition all-in-all.

Hi Scott,
This is awesome. You used the opportunity to capture the stunning colors of a tropical sunset to its fullest. What a spectacular ray of colors. The cross shaped clouds give the photo an extra dimension to view at. Great work on the composition where the bay is leading the eye into the photo.

This is a striking sunset, the colours are so inviting, excellent DOF, and I like how the mangroves are silhouetted. Very well composed!

This is a beautiful area, I enjoy being here most of the time! We were down to 49 degrees this am, wonderful!! Had some lovely birds down on my lake early, a pair of Cormorants and a Limpkin! I only had to sit in the mud to take shots of them, no ants today! :) Have a wonderful day!

We frequent St. Pete as well, my hubby's office is located up there.

Hi Scott

A pleasant moody sunset you've captured here, quite pleasing on the eye. The calm mirrored waters of the "backwater" bay and the silhouetted trees lies nicely on the 1/3 horizontal line while the colour band from the sun and the darkish zone of the clouds lies well on the 2/3 line.

The variation in the cloud forms and patterns created some interesting alternations to fill the sky and to prevent it from appearing monotonous. The DOF carried well into infinity ensuring good details while obviously aided by the tri-pod and the colour saturation came out nice and rich. Good exposure control at 3 seconds and f/22 combination.
