Crystal Falls - Winter
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here is part of the Crystal Falls from last summer but this time taken in Winter. I decided to take the lower left of it since it was the only part still flowing. On tripod with 1/2 second exposure at f/29.

I'm undecided about the branches too but your choice of shutter speed is good.

Hello Patrick,
I like the way the falls are framed by the ice and snow. Good choice of shutter speed here. I don't know if it was possible to avoid the branches from overlapping with the falls, but that's a minor nitpick. Well done. Regards,
Hakan

great smooth water nice framing by the ice
Hello Patrick!
Great shot and very beautiful photo! I like the delicate colours, nice saturation adn good DOF. The only things I do not like are the branches on the left size of waterfalls :)
Anyway, very nice presentation!
Greetings,
Radomir
Hi Patrick,
What could you have done about those branches. Use a saw? It is there, and that's life. Knowing that I don't find them that disturbing at all. The falls is really wonderful, especially how the water seams to appear from the ice. Great work on the shutter speed and framing. I do however feel that the photo is a little underexposed.
TFS,
Niek
