[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area provides endless beautiful scenes which I rarely have the time or talent to capture. This photo I took on my way to work Friday morning of the sunrise. I was traveling west and the sun was rising behind me and seemed so beautiful I had to look for a place to pull over and get a photo. I climbed up on the top of the railroad tracks and took 3 shots, this is the best I think.

I only increased the contrast +2 and rotated, cropped and resized.

Very nice landscape Lori, the light from the sun is magnificent and I like the layers created by the varying amounts of darkness. Great shot, well done.

very good colours and very good landscape picture with good composition, I think that you should give a little more of the branches on the right.

The columbia river, Steelheading paradise, ah yes, what a view. Excelent capture and well done on this composition, it deserves some TLC. ;)

Very nice sunrise. The color is great and the composition with the trees on the sides and foreground is really nice.

Lori, this is a simply stunning shot.
The golden reflection on the water is beautiful. it is such a warm shot.
It must be nice to know that you get to see this incredible scenery every day.
