I'm not sure on the ID of these, someone here will help I'm sure. These types of fungi are very difficult to get right, I think you have done a good job for your first fungi shot. The colours are good as is the lighting - they are not burnt-out - I would like to get in closer to one bunch. Very good.

Nice photo Lori! Good composition, very interesting subject and a moss as a bonus. You were in beautiful place I presume. TFS!
Hi Lori, so you, Julie and girls had a good trip into the forest. It is quite amazing how we didn't see things before we joined TN, and now we look out for them! Congrats for finding it. Perhaps I'll find one soon.

It's good to realize that TN can be so useful. Very good first on Fungi Lori. Perfect DOF and very good colors. Excellent details of the wood log, moss and "Fungi".
This is a nice perspective on these fungi. The log placement is really great and the moss adds a lot to the color. It does look at bit oversharpened, but overalll a really nice photo.

Hi Lori, Welcome to the world of fungi, identifications are never easy and doing so from a photo is even more difficult. Its always nice to see what is underneath :). Yours look to be very old Trametes versicolor (Turkey Tails).
These are posted regularly on TN for some reason maybe the large size long life, interesting post good POV.

Excellent color and light management, Lori. It seems that you'll become a #1 fungi photographer! Thanks for posting.
