Another photo of Crater Lake Oregon. The elevation is over 7000 ft. and this crystal clear lake was formed when an ancient volcano colapsed onto itself.

Thats one huge crater lake Julie. Almost as big as our lake Taupo.
I think I must have missed your previous post....I'll go look see.

Perfect colour of the water in this Crater Lake! I love it! Nice contrast betweetn water, sky and green trees. Great composition. TFS Julie!

What a marvelous lake! The composition of your picture is perfect, there's a lot of depth in the frame because you placed the shrubs in the front. Really well done. Maybe you could have used an UV-filter to filter out the blueish haze which cover the mountains in the back. Nothing serious though, the picture is great. TFS!
