Hello Joe,

Not one but two wonderful heads from these Harris Hawk, we see the eyes this is very important, what a lovely picture with a sharpness and clarity!

Best regards,
John.

Hey Joey,
your eagles look marvellous, both of them crisp clear and sharp, in smooth and gentle illumination with very subtle hues of colours, in front of a lively, equally clear background of scrub vegetation, and a midsummer sky of blue spots between heavy clouds. Composition is really fine, and the quality all over is outstanding. Well informing notes, too. Thank you!
Best regards,
Peter

Joe,
Wow great shot of these Hawks. It has nice colors and great background. (The sky could have been little more bright by adding colors)

Hi Joe, Very interesting shot of these 2 Harris Hawks, you refer to this as the "Original" of another of the Harris images, so I went looking and if correct that this is the full image of the 2 headed portrait you posted very early on then unfortunately this image breaks one of the TN rules about posting the same image twice. To do so correctly it should of been posted as a re-post through the manage images in your photos. This would also of automatically connected the 2 images so people can see the differences.
On this occasion I intent not to do anything about it but please can you post crops or other alterations this way in the future.
If you or anybody else has any questions please feel free to email me or post it to the forum so all can see and disscuss the question.

Howdy Joey,

From your Note: ""... This is the original of another of my Harris Hawk shots.""

I think you have a great shot here; excellent PoV, great sharpness , and zero indications that this shot is of tethered birds.

One fly in this ointment is the crop of this same photo, which as you yourself have acknowledged was previously posted. Now that you understand the rules more clearly, perhaps you want to "bring home" the crop and post it here as a workshop!

I look forward to that, and will then happily smile on you!
In fact I will then also sick some of my TN friends on you, for this excellent shot deserves more attention!!!

As always, Jay
