Yes, this IS the center of New York City, a beautiful piece of the Central park, called The Pond.
I love to go there during lunch time in spring, summer and autumn, when the weather is nice. This place is very enjoyable.
I have seen swans there this year! (Have to bring my camera with me next time!) But this shot was taken last year, in 2006, there were only ducks there. Anyway, it is interesting to observe them too.
The original photo was a little dull, so I added contrast +3, increased color saturation +49 and sharpness +10. Here is the result. The green color of the bushes has much improved. |
