Wood Duck (Drake), Lakewood, Colorado.
The Wood Duck is not a species common to Colorado but since our location is near the central flyway a few uncommon birds do show up during the seasonal migrations. This image was captured at one of the local wetlands.

Hello John and Welcome to TrekNature.
A brilliant capture of your colourful Wood Duck. Nice depth of field, point of view. Lighting, colours and composition is great.
It's always so great when the birds start migrating as you never know what you will see.
TFS Janice
Welcome ! Lovely composition.. wonderful lighting in this image... colors and detail are super. Nice POV and the DOF works really well to isolate and enhance the subject. Love the reflection peeking out.
Well done, TFS... Mish
