| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The Great Blue Heron, Ardea herodias, is a wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae, common all over North and Central America as well as the West Indies and the Galápagos, except in deserts and high mountains where there is no water for it to wade in. It is very similar to the European Grey Heron. This is the largest North American heron. |

Hello Lawhill, what a nice picture of this Heron, the collors and details are great, very sharp too..have a nice day..
Good shot, I would cut off picture differently. I in workshop placed my vision of this picture.
It added to oneself to clean up photographic apparatus also because to be visible on picture stains
The sharpness is great and the pose is wonderful. I really love your work! Good. Better than anything I have done of the Heron.
Bob
Hi Law,
This is an outstanding photo. The colors are amazing and so pleasing. The soft lighting is stunning. Incredible detail on the plumage and around the red eye. You caught a nice pose. I have never seen a blue heron with these colors.
I did not like the workshop Marx. In my opinion the exposure is perfect and should not be changed. However, I would crop a bit off the right side and their was some dust on your lens that shows in your beautiful blue background. I removed the dust spots in a workshop.
Hello Lawhill , very good posture and comp. sharpness OK , TFS and good luck.
