[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture just off of Highway 1 along the coast of northern California. It was taken in almost total darkness as the base of a treacherous hillside. I almost killed myself hiking down from the roadside with a pack filled with camera gear and a tripod.

I'd say a bit more foreground and less sky, as the sky itself isn't all that interesting. The surf and the rocks on the other hand look quite interesting.

Hello Wes,
A lovely atmosphere and superb colour palette!
Good details and fine effect from long exposure...
Image is basically well framed, but maybe too close to division 50/50..?
Greetings,

Hi Wes,
Sounds like it was a rough climb. Risk VS. Reward. I'd say the risk was worth it here.Beautiful seascape composition. Soft pastel colors and mist give it an amazing feel. I might be tempted to crop some of the white sky off the top and bring the horizion line into the upper third. A great long exposure shot.
