| I took this picture just off of Highway 1 along the coast of northern California. It was taken in almost total darkness as the base of a treacherous hillside. I almost killed myself hiking down from the roadside with a pack filled with camera gear and a tripod. |

I'd say a bit more foreground and less sky, as the sky itself isn't all that interesting. The surf and the rocks on the other hand look quite interesting.

Good details and fine effect from long exposure...
Image is basically well framed, but maybe too close to division 50/50..?

Hi Wes,
Sounds like it was a rough climb. Risk VS. Reward. I'd say the risk was worth it here.Beautiful seascape composition. Soft pastel colors and mist give it an amazing feel. I might be tempted to crop some of the white sky off the top and bring the horizion line into the upper third. A great long exposure shot.
