[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A young Tricolored Heron attempts to catch an unaware prey...It has become a regular at the canal beside where I live along with Great Blues, Night Herons and various other wading birds...The canal leads into two large culverts that are the entrance/exit of a bayou and nursery area for fish, shrimp and crabs...It is a prime spot for these birds to ambush fish and crustacians entering or exiting the fertile hatchery area...

What a beautiful pose you caught! IT looks like the heron is doing some sort of dance..."wings out, step one foot forward and bow." :)
Good work!

Hello Jim,
Nice pose , great colors, looks sharp, I’m personally would crop closer
to the right side to bring this great action forward, TFS Regards/Lawhill
