[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hot Georgia days often breed afternoon thunderstorms. Heavy winds bend limbs and blow the leaves hard. Rain comes in sheets. The thunder is loud and the lightning pops.

I tried to capture the essence of the one that came through yesterday. Out of 50 images, few gave the sense of the danger and drama of the storm. Too fast a shutter speed halts all the action. Too slow and it becomes a blur. The image I selected was shot at 1/3 second.

Tomorrow I will post an image showing the end of the storm. An entirely different mood.

You captured the motion of a thunderstorm - wind blowing, rain falling. Good depiction of the feeling of a storm. :)
