Hello Tom,
Looks like you caught a young starling having a go at a plum. The lighting looks like it was strong and not easy to deal with, but the sharpness is good and the details are pretty clear. Starlings are omniverous so it's interesting to see that the diet can include plums.

Hi Tom, this is a good composition of this bird. The stones behind him present an interesting backdrop. The colour is good, the detail maybe could have used a bit more light. I've created a workshop to explore another option.
