I had just photographed another dragonfly and returning home, found this one waiting in my front yard. He was pretty patient with me and allowed me to get some fairly good shots.
This was taken at 1/50s F13 ISO-200 135mm. I sharpened it a little.

Hello Reid and welcome to TN.
Good color and POV in your capture. Very hard to get adequate sharpness at 1/50th handheld though..Perhaps less space behind the subject would improve your composition IMHO.

I'm impressed this is as sharp as it is...at that shutter speed mine would be unrecognizable without a tripod (I have familial tremors in my hands so I'd never be a surgeon. ha ha)
