Hi Tom,

Perfect timing and a wonderful capture. This Egret is beautiful in a wonderful position showing off the wing span. Interesting effects of the sun. Nice details of the face. Wonderful colors - love that deep blue sky.

The effect is really strange, it looks as if was wearing a kind of replaceble suit :)
Very nice use of backlight, great contrast obtained to show the transparencies.

Very beautiful in flight shot Tom.
Composition and exposure are spot on.
Most wonderful feather detail, wich is'nt easy with all those whites.
The bird does stand out greatly against the lovely steel blue sky.

Great job, Tom.
I still have a lot of trouble panning and taking shots of birds in flight.
I should go down to the lake and practice. : P
The POV is very cool, and shows us the skeletal structure, as well as the light coming through the primary feathers.

Wow this is a fabulous shot Tom. The Egret looks magnificent against the blue sky. The light through its open wings is superb, like an angel. The Egret is nice and sharp showing great detail throughout. Superb.
