[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We visited Zoo Atlanta yesterday where we saw this Milky Eagle Owl. Also called Verreaux's Eagle Owl, he comes from Sub-Saharan Africa. He was the star of the Wildlife Theater at the zoo. He did some flying for us.

I have posted the flying on Treklens here.

I sharpened this image using an Unsharp Mask. Settings: Radius 2, Strength 110, Clipping 5. I did this sharpening after resizing. I have created a workshop showing what happens when I do the same sharpening before resizing.

Workshop is here.

Hope you enjoy the images,
Reid

What a beautiful creature that is! Amazingly beautiful!! Lovely details in the feathers.

Hi Mr. Reid,
A beautiful owl. You have captured very well both the closeup and the flying action in TL. Very well done. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Reid,
Still a very beautiful photograph, the eyes black of the owl are impressive , cheer,

Hello Reid,
Good shot of this unusual owl. Looks like there may be a little over-exposure on beak, but for the most part, the colors look good. The fact that he is being held takes away from the naturalness of the shot, but it was interesting to see what the owl looks like. I like the in-flight shot.
