This particularly regal Queen Anne reigns over a garden of lowly weeds, perhaps peons and cents as well, below her wealth in lore and history. There is indeed a red spot in the center of the lace, where it is supposed that Queen Anne pricked herself while making more of her namesake. This story fit for a King, has both historical and erotic value as well. And in this particular weed garden, the Queen is only dwarfed in stature by a lone tree, dead and stripped of its green. Thereupon Vesper Sparrows perch during evening hours to sing their song of praise as the sun sets slowly in the western sky.

Certain insects, with bees lording over all smaller, tend to the pollination of each caste member, including the Queen, whose name was indeed regal until she was naturalized into the United States, whereupon directives from the heads of state, she was demoted by USDA to a "noxious weed".

This quite "self proclaimed" painting/picture of her was created on a particularly hot and dry day. All of the weeds in the garden could be heard crying out for water. In this land it has not rained for weeks. The sun has reigned high over the Queen and her weeds, drying and shriveling them, even the young pretty ones. And it was heard among the weeds that a certain local worker of the human variety, was passing by in his carriage, spraying clouds of poison, in order to contain and put to rest these natural creations....so more than likely this Queen shall be dead within a short time. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the National Conservation Society in her Majesty's name.

I love the way you get the blurry 'active' backgrounds to your photos..and your colors are natural, but there's something in the quality, that as you said, seems like a painting. Beautiful!

Hi Bob,
Exquisite flowers and majestically presented. Very neat and sharp image with lovely colour tones and spot-on focus. The natural lighting is superbly handled. Marvellous effect in the BG which enhances the beauty of the shot. I like your POV and the composition. Kudos.

Hello Bob,
Very attractive composition with the delicate flowers!
Lovely colour palette, nice details... I notice the insect visiting one of the flowers!
Greeting,
Pablo -

Hi Bob, I love this great artistic shot, wonderfull
Pat

Queens are there. But in modern days kins are the kings without territory. So the queens are ignored..... no, still thay have somebody for courting. They may not be the king of a physical map but by mind. That is why we can see the beautiful queen is preserved in a frame, with dignity and love..

Lovely photo...I was so entranced by the colors that I didn't notice the bee...Very well done...TFS

I like your composition, Bob and the note! Be sure to check the histogram and playback the image to see if details have been blown out by overexposure. Check for "blinkies" and check both ends of the histogram. Then adjust your exposure, compensating up or down.

Amigo Bob.
Una delicada planta muy bien captada con un buen DoF y PoV.
Buena nota.
Hasta pronto, JL.

Hi Bob,

And a particularly regal shot, with those beautiful flowers standing out magnificently against an intriguingly patterned background. I love the composition.

Kind regards,

Mike
