[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Catalina Island is a small paradise island just about 30 miles off the coast of Los Angeles, many people come to this mediteraneean climate island similar to Northern Africa or Spain and spend some time in the main city of Avalon, a touristy party central but very few venture past that to see what the island really has to offer in therms of nature besides shore snorkeling or glass bottomed boats full of fat tourists yelling: ,,fishy, fishy,, while chewing on corn-dogs.
There are amazing animals from land to sea like buffalo (yess you heard correctly : buffalos, on island off the coast of L.A.), whales, sea lions, amazing fish like the Garibaldi, Catalina Island fox or Catalina Island rattlesnake and so on ...
Here is a glimpse of the Saguaro cactus a notable introduced presence on the island..

Halo Radu!
Wonderful picture. I made photos of my cacti but your are just amazing, wonderful, great and.... huge!

Radu, Excellent and dramatic POV that grabs the viewer..Great detail, color and the high bands of clouds make this cacti seem even taller. They actually seem to touch the sky..

Another beautiful one from your cactus collection. THanks Radu for sharing these beauties. Can't get rid of it.
