Hi Silke,
A beautful shot of the California coast. When I toured the coast(summer), I never saw the sunset on the horizon. There was always a fogbank offshore in the evenings. Love the POV and composition. Great DOF and color. Very well captured.

Goodness it has that Hawaiian look to it. Almost like the S Cal I remember further north...saved by the Coastal Commission...I have had problems with them but overall they have done good as you show in your wonderful landscape/seascape.

Beautiful sunset on the Californian coast, though what makes this shot attractive is not the sunset itself but the composition of the palms, foreground vegetation and the sea horizon, as well as the wedge of headland on the right.
