A beautiful shot - love the surrounding...the flowers. I can't get mine to partake of the flowers. Guess I offer the easy access feeders they prefer. ha ha
This is a great shot...wonderful colors, great pov. I'm really really really really impressed with your work these days. (Maybe a tinge jealous too)

Beautiful frame-filling colors in this garden scene Jim. Nice details and light, a very pleasing image.
Hey, your garden looks great. I've the same problem with my dogs, have to fence in the flowers. I must say mine are in poor shape now, haven't given them the attention they need..Too much rain this past summer as well :(

il reste un peu de bruit dans les parties vertes de la photo mais il y a de tres jolies couleurs et le colibri est relativement net.

Quelle capture réussir à prendre cet oiseau en plein vol. IL y a un peu de bruit mais je comprends bien qu'il est très difficile de faire ressortir la scène sans aucun bruit.

Nice capture in a good colorful setting. These quick little guys are not easy to photograph. They're really aggressive too. Today, two ruby throats were fighting over the feeder that's right in front of the me on the porch. The ran together and actually fell to the ground and wrestled around in the leaves. Your image is excellent. Well done.

Oh my goodness! I didn't see the little hummer until I opened the image. It is a great capture and a wonderful colorful shot. The image did clean up nicely in the workshop.

FIrst I was struck by the beautiful colours of these flowers then I discovered the little Hummer! Considering the busy background your focus on the Hummer is very fine. Lovely colours and well composed.

The capture is very good composition, POV and focus wise. But only nit is a bit noisy. But Marie has made it OK. Any way a nice try. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Jim.
What a delightful place for him to hang out amongst all these beautiful flowers full of pollen and nectar. Well seen and taken of him busy in there, using the colours in the garden around him looks wonderful, his own little world of food.
For me, I would be inclined to crop in on the left a tad just to remove those tiny pieces of blue flowers just poking into the frame, they keep catching my eye and then of course the attention gets taken away from the hummingbird which here totally deserves all the attention.

This is a superb capture Jim and those tones of colors are beautiful! I also like this POV and composition a lot. A picture doesn't need to be very close to be beautiful. I enjoy this flourish environment a lot! The background is a little noisy but this is a minor nit for such a pleasant picture. Thanks,
