Love it, superb :-) Your note made me laugh, I've always thought they look a little bit crazy with their eyes just wandering in every direction. Superb image, even the texture on the skin is clearly visible, fantastic detail. Amazing to see one this close as well. Great image.

This is indeed, just as you said, quite rare, my friend - to have both of one's eyes nicely aligned. You did great to seize the moment.

Another thing you did great here is to have used a small f-number that concentrated all the attention strictly on that part of the head. Splendid work!

Aside that, i love the colors, i love the textures and i love the POV.

...you really insist on me filling all my favorite slots with your photos, don't ya? :)))

Hi Paul,
This rocks! Great colors and detail. I learned a new technique at Photoshop World in Las Vegas last week that would work great on a shot like this. "Helicon Focusing" I had my portfolio reviewed by George Lepp, and also attended one of his workshops. He loved my macro work and advised I should try this technique. Killer shot here!

I can't look too long at this photo. I am afraid I will do things that are beyond my control. It makes me go into a very deep trance looking at it. I can't say anything else than that is a very awesome photo. You've showed us many different and wonderful photos of these stunning creatures, but this one beats them all. Never seen such wonderful eyes, never seen such stunning details and colors.
