[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Miguelito Canyon, in Lompoc, California, has its own grove of Sequoia sempervirens, the Coast Redwood. This particular one is extremely healthy, growing vigorously in the protected canyon just east of the city.

Hello Featherbirdlady, very nice image with excellent detail love the colors, man this is one big tree, I have done a couple of shots similar to this of our Gum tress here in Queensland, just beautiful tfs Cheers Rick

Gee Feather. It's like about time eh? Bob here from FB!!!! You are the person who led me to TN although we have not spoken for an age or three.

Your pictures here are what makes photography so wonderful and since I cannot get back very easily you hav an new opportunity open to you thru me. I have so many ideas of place to pic, such as this shot. I would have loved to do this picture. Dang! You are back her to let me know God in nature is alive on the coast..and the KOZT eh? We shall soon see again.
Bob

Wonderful POV - - - you show the strength and size of this spectacular tree! Very compositionally pleasing with the radials/limbs at the top.
Bottom line - great shot!!!

(Any friend of Bob has to be a wonderful person - great to 'meet' you!)
