Yes you have come up a notch for sure and your sticking to it. A wonderful shot and so much different than some of the others..You will be a pro soon. God knows your area needs a few. I have seen the NPPA work that comes out of that area and you could get some stringer work...

Hi Jim,
Another great dragonfly shot from you. Very neat and sharp with lovely colours. Superb lighting and pose here and the darkish BG lets it stand out perfectly. I like its gorgeous red eyes. Excellent POV to portray it and very nicely composed. Kudos.

Yes, it's amazing how they hold on to things with those little "hands"! Excellent capture of this Roseate Skimmer in beautiful light that brings out the colours. Very sharp details too. I like the dark background and the composition is excellent.

Superb lighting in this capture of a female Roseate Skimmer: the light seems to be coming directly from above. Nice composition and great sharpness against a pleasing bokeh.
