I found this bright yellow flower at the top of Mount Scott at Crater Lake. The sun was shining so brightly I didn't know if this would turn out very well. This group was protected by the tree branches on the ground and I thought looked almost like they'd been planted by a gardener. I've looked through all my flower books and can't find what these 6 petaled yellow flowers are. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks to Tom's help....I think these are Rayless Arnica.

Hi Lori
This is a very nice shot.I like the bright yellow Color in the surroundings that you fond them in. Really makes then stand out. Nice focus and sharpness. About the identity, I fond that the Streambank Arnica looks and sounds a lot like these. And are some times fond at higher elevations. It says in the book I have that some of the Arnica species has 5 to 7 leaves. And from what I see here is that some have 5 to 7 leaves on them. Any way that's my guess. Hope it mite help. It is a very nice photo of them. great job and TFS
