[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Seen on the shore at Roque Bluffs State Park, this is one specimen of the many "beach roses" in both white and pink varieties so common along the rockbound coast of Maine. The leaves here are glistening with the damp air of the ocean. These flowers are separated from the waters only by a relatively modest swath of beach. The beach roses survive and thrive in a cooler, saltier habitat than the ones that most roses call home.

Maine eh? It does look unusual..and yet all of nature is truly a wonder to behold. Simplicity again is the mainstay. Basics needed by most to go further...Well done..I'll bet your not looking forward to months of snow..
