[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This glimpse of morning fog and mist gracing the banks of the Machias River and burning off against the first warmth of the rising sun is a prequel to my Bad Little Falls post. The image here — less than a quarter mile above the point where the river reaches Bad Little Falls — shows perhaps the last relatively serene stretch of river before it cascades oceanward, gaining force and turbulence as it hurtles over the rocks at the falls.

A beautiful capture of the morning mist as it rises of the river.
It creates a lovely atmosphere.
You have managed the morning light well and the subdued colours add to the effect.I really like the look of the water,it has a very mystical look to it.
The pastel tones in the sky are beautiful.
