A spider weaving her web. Shot taken at 2X magnification and with a macro flash, that is why the background is dark.

At 2X the DOF is very shallow so the back of her body is out of focus a little since the main focus area is the front.

Hi Nikos, very nice capture. I would like to be pedantic for a moment and say that this is a male - you can tell by the shape of the palps. This is very like our Cyclosa conica although I don't know if you get the exact same species where you are, the genus might be worth checking. I have a side profile of this spider, I may post it soon. Very nice work.
