I hears regularly this bird for a week. He begins to arrive in our parts. Your photo is just perfect to my eyes. No nits. I find so pleasant to be able to admire your blooming Magnolia.

Excellent image ... really sharp and good DOF!! Thats definitely one handsome bird with a tuft of yellow to brighten its sombre colors. And you've framed it perfectly with those lovely magnolias. TFS!!

What a beautifully composed photograph! The magnolias make a lovely muted background to this surprisingly colourful little sparrow! You have done a marvellous job. The differences in feather colour stand out more than I ever saw them on this bird. The browns are particularly striking! Well done!
