| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Landscape of a swath of flowers and berries in a summer meadow near the banks of Apple Creek. Sometimes the best floral arrangements are the ones that involve no human design.
PP consisted of cropping, resizing, two passes of USM with The Gimp, and adding the frame, using the color picker tool on a dark area of the green leaves to derive the color. |

Well it may be summer in the image but it sure has a Christmas flavor Jim. Although you don't post often, you always choose a picture which at least I will appreciate. Having spent so many of my years "back east" I understand ho w little some areas are imaged. Very nicely done.

Hi Jim,
Wonderful shot of this beautiful meadow full with different kinds of flowers of different colours. Very neat and sharp image and I like the natural surrounding very much. Great lighting and POV to portray this charming scenery. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hello Jim,
You are so correct, natures landscaping is far superior to ours. Very nice color palette in this excellent image. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Jim
This is an impressive show of natural colour.
Well captured with very good lighting.
The colours are well saturated.
I like the way you composed the shot, the frame is filled with beautiful wildflowers.

This is an effective image. I like the dominance of the reds and the supporting yellows and pinks. The range of greens is very nice and very natural looking. Greens can sometimes be tricky. This is a cheerful image on a gray, blustery, rainy day.
