Summers in Houston are brutal. It's not unusual to see animals seeking any respite from the heat and humidity they can find. This junior squirrel was so worn out from the heat (it was approaching 96 degrees, and it wasn't officially summer yet), that he was spread absolutely flat, trying to suck any coolness out of the tree that he could.

I cropped the image, then adjusted the levels in Photoshop, sharpened it, resized it, and saved and uploaded it.
