| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was taken during a tour to the Grand Canyon about a year-and-a-half ago. We stopped briefly in Sedona, Arizona, on the way to the canyon. The rock formations there are very red in color because of the high iron ore content in the rocks. When the iron is exposed to the air it rusts, producing the reddish color.
This was taken about three shots before an image of some cloud formations in the area.
I did practically no post-processing to the image, just adjusted the levels in Photoshop, sharpened it, resized it, and saved and uploaded it. |

An excellent Landscape shot. This is very well composed and framed. An excellent light shows great detail in the rock. I love landscapes! Your clouds an landscape are also very good. Nice Job!
