And why not something different...It works for me..Shadowplay and patterns combined with symbolism in a full moon on Xmas Eve...It is magic Howard. Sometimes I call these page filler for the news.....but is was those fillers that sold the newspaper. In todays world we need to put all things in perspective and then the hard task of passing that down to our children and grandchildren. We are the elders who tell the oral stories and show our important pictures...Good show Howard!

Hi Howard,
What a beautiful composition! That moon looks so serene and the trees framing it are really nice. Beautiful sharp, bold silhouettes of the trees and I like the way that one branch looks like it's cradling the moon. Lovely shade of blue, a perfect evening shot!

Dear Howard, some branches seem to be "touching" the moon - and that's great.

This is a fine composition, where the moon is nicely framed by the naked branches!
Fine details in the moon itself, when I try to capture this fellow it never comes out well...

Hi Howard,
There is a Saint Nicolas song thats called; See the moon shine through the trees. This photo reminded me of that song.
I love the perfect framing of the trees around the moon. That one twig looks like its holding the moon up in the air. Very well seen and executed.
