Une vue d'une partie du Canyon Waimea, il est aussi nommé le Grand Canyon du Pacifique. La photo a été prise d'un des point d'observation le long du canyon lors d'une visite organisée d'une journée de Kauai. Un négatif endommagé Kodak 5025 qui a été numérisé avec un Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV.
A view of an area of the Waimea Canyon, it is also name the Pacific Grand Canyon. The photo was taken from one of the lookout point of the Canyon during a one day sightseeing tour of Kauai. A damaged Kodak 5025 negative which was scanned with a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV. |

My son did not convey to me how deep and long this canyon was. Neither do some of the pictures I have seen on tourist sights...Your images show the size of the canyon. I shall now look up the total geology of this...All of the islands being volcanic there must be some larger connections...nice informational and quality photo..
