[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Why eat all of one leaf when you can sample a little of all of them? Some kind of critters had been at work in this rose garden, and seemed determined to work their way through every single plant there.

Very little post-proc was done. I adjusted the levels in Photoshop, sharpened it, resized it, and saved and uploaded it.

Nice! I think it could be the work of a leaf-cutter bee and that would explain the apparent waste : they do not eat them, but use the neatly cut off pieces as a building material for their nest. They often use rose leaves, btw.

this rose leaf-cutter wasp world wide spread,
is this Megachile sp. ?
do you think so ?

I think this image is quite humourous and the title fits perfectly. Nicley seen.

Sometimes we forget that nature has its bugs too, not just cameras and software ;)
