Hi Michel,
This dragonfly is really small, and I think you were lucky enough to have this shot done, being the subject on the water.
I like a lot the surface tension seen on the water, and the subtle and harmonic tones got here.

I agree with your notes when you say it is a cute dragonfly. I'll actually go further to say this is a "dam" cute but also beautiful dragonfly. Not only is the dragonfly beautiful, the whole photo is beautiful. Not only is the whole photo beautiful, the reflection of the dragonfly in the water is just stunning. I hope by now you realize that I really like this photo. In actual fact I must be frank and tell you that the mirror image in the water is more striking than the actual dragonfly. A very good presentation with wonderful colours and detail. The water droplets at the bottom of the leaf just rounds of this special image. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed looking at this one.

Subject is really fantastic. I like the main objects and their reflections. Details of the image are wonderful as well as the crisp sharpness of the image. Water surface is reproduced perfectly too. Colours are rich and nice and composition of the picture is simply blameless. Bravo and TFS.

Hi Michel

This is a lovely artistic presentation of the tiny Eastern amberwing. Very cute indeed.

The vertical composition worked well for this shot showing the subject with its reflection and copious part of the mirror like water surface. By some unknown facility it seems like you actually came pretty close to the dragonfly to capture this shot. The colours and the details are splendid while the water surface acted as a lovely BG that complimented the insect, plant, and the reflection.

Wow, elle est spectaculaire cette composition! On peut apprécier toute la délicatesse chez cette libellule, j'aime bien l'angle dans lequel tu l'as photographiée. Une très jolie lumière subtile également pour rendre un reflet impeccable dans cette belle eau opaque. Encore une fois bravo pour cette merveilleuse capture!
