[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I visited Yellowstone National Park in February during a very cold spell. It was minus 23 degrees F, bone-chilling and nearly impossible to do photography. The batteries would die, the camera body would condensate, the lens would frost over. I was able to get this shot, though, near some gysers and thermal pools. The super heated water doesn't freeze, and the gysers put water crystals into the air that would float down and create a surreal, misty scene.

Wow! ... Beautiful cold scene. All we seem to get is wet and soggy over here!

Excellent! There is a dreamy, ethreal feel that you have captured magnificently - I think thats due to the oblique lighting in a while haze.
