A forward-looking post now not so many weeks hence. The cold winter days that multitudes in northern climes are longing to see end are, of course, the necessary precursor to this scene of incipient vitality.
At this moment, early last May, it's just a week or so before these buds are set to burst open into full flower on our local cherry trees. It's a spectacular show when it comes, in the making now just beneath the surface. |

Very pleasant photo. Nice natural colours with good detail. After this long winter I can't wait until this time of the year finally arrives. Thanks for the reminder of what is lying just around the corner.
